As part of the ‘Swiss Press Photo 26’ exhibition organised by the Reinhardt von Graffenried Foundation, the Swiss National Library is showcasing last year’s best Swiss press photographs.
What were Switzerland’s standout moments of 2025? Which images made the biggest impression on you?
The exhibition ‘Swiss Press Photo 26’ by the Reinhardt von Graffenried Foundation invites you to rediscover the best photojournalism from the past year. This is a chance to step back and reflect on an eventful and emotionally charged year.
The exhibition is broken down into several categories: News, Daily Life, Swiss Stories, People, Sports and World, and showcases the full breadth of contemporary Swiss photojournalism.
A space is also dedicated to the ‘Swiss Press Photographer of the Year’. This year, photographer Mario Heller is recognised for his reporting on Narva, an Estonian town on the Russian border, caught between its Soviet heritage and geopolitical tensions linked to the expansionist ambitions of Vladimir Putin’s Russia.
