Welcome to the big Japan Festival at the Bern Historical Museum.

Visitors can expect a diverse programme of workshops, Japanese specialities and stage performances on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The authentic Japanese bazaar will once again offer a wide range of textiles, food and Japanese handicrafts this year. A pop-up exhibition will showcase selected items from the Bern Historical Museum's Japan collection exclusively this weekend.

The Japan Festival is taking place with the generous support of the Japanese Embassy in Switzerland.

The bazaar and food stalls are organised by Bern Nipponjin-kai, the Japanese Association of Bern.
