Kitchen Talks - the recipe behind the umbrella brand
…out of the kitchen of Manifesta, the European Nomadic Biennial: experiences in destination marketing (in English)

Tue, March 5, 2024, 56 - 8 pm

With Emilia van Lynden (Head of Marketing, Communication and Business Development)

KITCHEN TALKS is a public workshop series that offers the opportunity to think about a suitable marketing strategy for the Museumsquartier Bern and to discover new tools.

Our guests are experienced experts from different industries and countries who will talk about their company kitchens: What is the optimal relationship between the umbrella brand and the institutions? How does a cultural area develop into an attractive destination?

Manifesta changes location every two years to present local, national and international artistic as well as architectural interventions. How does the European Nomadic Biennial develop into a "place to be" in cities like Zurich, Prishtina or Barcelona within a short period of time?

Emilia van Lynden (Head of Marketing,Communication and Business Development) discusses the strategies of Manifesta and the influence of city and regional marketing.

Location: Alpines Museum der Schweiz, Helvetiaplatz 4, 3005 Bern
Registration required via info@mqb.ch

The workshops are public and free of charge. An input from our guests (in English) is followed by a workshop with the audience. The Museumsquartier Bern serves as a case study. The working languages of the workshop are English and German. The ideas collected will be digested at the end of the evening over an aperitif.
