Kitchen Talks - the recipe behind the umbrella brand

..out of the kitchen of Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen, Rotterdam: an innovative communication strategy (in English)

Wed, February 28, 2024, 6 - 8 pm

With Demelzha Blinker (Head of Marketing and Communication)

KITCHEN TALKS is a public workshop series that offers the opportunity to think about a suitable marketing strategy for the Museumsquartier Bern and to discover new tools.

Our guests are experienced experts from different industries and countries who will talk about their company kitchens: What is the optimal relationship between the umbrella brand and the institutions? How does a cultural area develop into an attractive destination?

Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam is the world’s first publicly accessible art storage facility that offers access to a museum’s complete collection. Guests can wander through the building, surrounded by 154,000 artworks, but also get a glimpse into all the activities that go into preserving and managing a collection.

Demelzha Blinker (Head of Marketing and Communication) talks about the Depot‘s communication strategy: How do you tell peopleabout what happens behind the scenes?

Location: Museum für Kommunikation, Helvetiastrasse 16, 3005 Bern
Registration required via info@mqb.ch

The workshops are public and free of charge. An input from our guests (in English) is followed by a workshop with the audience. The Museumsquartier Bern serves as a case study. The working languages of the workshop are English and German. The ideas collected will be digested at the end of the evening over an aperitif.
